4 eggs
1 ½ cups buttermilk (substitute for buttermilk is at the bottom of the page)
1 cup warm water
⅓ cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter a round pan (the size varies depending on if you use the substitute buttermilk or the real buttermilk). Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool before flipping the pan.
Enjoy!
Buttermilk Substitute: Combine one cup of milk and one tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl. Let it sit for 10 minutes before adding it to the batter.
Another delicacy over which DotE will need to exert his willpower!!
I’ve learned to taste everything SoTE bakes on the day it is created, and then never again. Her talent makes it very hard to be disciplined!
