This recipe is perfect for those of you who, like me, have not yet developed a lot of cooking skills. (I’m using growth mindset language here because it’s possible some day I will be a great chef.)
2 cups fresh basil leaves (We purchased three basil plants from Trader Joe’s so we can continue to make this recipe without going to the grocery store for basil.)
2 tablespoons pine nuts
3 large cloves of garlic
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Combine all but the oil in a food processor. Start to mix and then add the olive oil until the product finely minced. Can be used on pasta or pizza dough.
